Update: Wednesday July 30, 2008 The
Green River club in Bowling Green voted July 19 to immediately
allocate $17,000 toward construction of a five-bay, fully bermed
pistol range, where Practical Pistol, (soon to be USPSA sanctioned)
steel, bowling pin, sanctioned IPDA, and "3-gun" matches
will be held. Members
will also have access for practice.
Tree removal, earthmoving, and construction began Friday. GRGC
members include 9 USPSA members including 2 ROs and 2 CROs. An opening date
has not yet been set, but basic operation is expected to begin in about a month. |
