Pistol range progress in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Update: Wednesday July 30, 2008

The Green River club in Bowling Green voted July 19 to immediately allocate $17,000 toward construction of a five-bay, fully bermed pistol range, where Practical Pistol, (soon to be USPSA sanctioned) steel, bowling pin, sanctioned IPDA, and "3-gun" matches will be held.  Members will also have access for practice. Tree removal, earthmoving, and construction began Friday.   GRGC members include 9 USPSA members including 2 ROs and 2 CROs. An opening date has not yet been set, but basic operation is expected to begin in about a month.

Location The range will be located near the center of the GRGC's 102 acre area on the Northwest side of Bowling Green near 231, off of Price Chapel road. Click to enlarge the map.
